The Dubai resident who calls herself Jani Viswanath Jagtiani is perhaps one of those Indian expatriates who would qualify under the term "many hats". From her distinguished parents-a famous educationist-diplomat and Dr. T.K. Viswanath, and Jonathan Jagtiani, founder of Landmark Group's Home Centre. She has made her journey through life as a woman humanitarian, acclaimed artist, books author, film maker, PH D holder, archer, and perhaps most interesting to herself, amateur flier.

She was born in Coimbatore, South India, and then educated in a Catholic institution at the yesteryear Kabul in Afghanistan. From there, she has keenly learned her big life lessons from here and there in this world. She speaks many languages, at most six, but the one in which she claims to be the best is the language of compassion. Healing Lives is now the more than many years humanitarian family foundation founded by Jani to reach out to many, and she still shines with nostalgia at the memories from her missions.

What makes Jagtiani really unique is her unstinting commitment to humanitarian causes, coupled with her determination to make welfare a lifestyle for herself. She has defined success not by what she has materially but by what she can inspire in the lives of others: change for the better. Jani Viswanath Jagtiani goes on to prove that compassion does not know borders. Her story is proof and inspiration for many to strive to follow in her steps-to show that anyone in the world can change the life of another person.
